Emergency After Hours Contact

Lumineers are thin shells of Cerinate (patented porcelain) used to cover the topical surface of teeth to fix cosmetic dental imperfections. Lumineers provide a conservative alternative to dental veneers. They are extremely thin like contact lenses and don't require the affected tooth to be drilled down to create room for it. The surface of the affected teeth is etched and Lumineers are directly bonded to it. Their thin appearance makes them hard to notice and their tooth-colored nature perfectly mimics the appearance of natural teeth. Lumineers can be used to fix:

  • Discoloration.
  • Small teeth.
  • Imperfectly shaped teeth.
  • Chips, fractures, and cracks.
  • Unsightly gaps between teeth.
  • Minor orthodontic imperfections.

How are Lumineers placed?

Lumineers are a “minimal preparation” or “no-preparation” alternative to traditional dental veneers. They can be easily placed in two visits to the dentist.

First Visit

During the first visit, your dentist will examine your mouth to check whether you are eligible to receive veneers or not. To be eligible to receive Lumineers, you must have enough remaining tooth surface to which they can be bonded.

If your dentist considers you to be eligible to receive Lumineers, digital impressions of your upper and lower teeth will be recorded and sent to an authorized Lumineers laboratory.

Second Visit

Lumineers take about two weeks to be fabricated. When they arrive at your dentist's office, you will be called in for a second visit. During the second visit, your dentist will make sure that they fit perfectly and match the size, shape, and color, of your natural teeth. The affected teeth will be etched and Lumineers will be bonded in place one by one. You can resume your regular lifestyle immediately after the process.

What are the benefits of Chao pinhole gum treatment over traditional treatment methods?

Today, dentistry provides diverse options when it comes to choosing a treatment for cosmetic enhancements. If you are looking for a painless and hassle-free procedure, Lumineers are what you've been looking for. The table below illustrates the difference between Lumineers and veneers. Based on your individual conditions, your dentist will provide you the best choice of treatment.
